hatebringer
Well i make my animated avatars with macromedia flash, and that alows you to change the file type before you publish and save the file, so you could try there. 99 Fletching 99 Attack 99 Constitution 99 Cooking 99 StrengthGamertag: H8tebringer
icecube
Animated Gifs? I use ImageReady (a program that comes with Photoshop CS2) to compile images or edit videos to make the ones I have. I can post them if you want to see (my avatar is not one).

Zaaps1
Before I realized ImageReady can animate (I'm a photoshop nub) I googled GIF animator and downloaded a program of the same name. It's not as good or safe as ImageReady, but it is free and works OK. If you are willing to download or not, that's your call. ~It's Super Effective!
