Getting a hilt

Ok, I want to get a God Sword Hilt, any hilt. I know it sounds crazy with my stats (in sig), but I calculated that crafting nats for 3 hours a day would take a month and a half to get the 45m zammy hilt. I'd rather something faster then this, so I might try to get it on my own. I have around 7m I can spend. What I'm looking for is:

What's the easiest\best boss for my level?

Is it possible to solo them with my stats?

How often do they drop a hilt?

A few tips (I've read Metoo's guide, but I'd like some more information)

Would this way be faster then nat crafting for getting one? (I.E. if I had to tele without killing it half the time, would it still be worth it)

If it is not possible to solo any of them, is there anywhere I could find someone else trustworthy and willing to team with me late at night (11-12PM Central Time).

Will edit or post if more questions are thought of

Thanks,

You are too low level to solo. Even with high level stats soloing is a waste of time unless you are only doing it to say you did it.

The hilts are very rare drops -- that's why they cost so much.

Ok, thanks. I thought the hilts might be fairly common, but I guess not. And btw, nice website qeltar =)

It's the age old argument between slow steady income and taking a shot at a lucky drop.

With nats, you're guaranteed to have that money if you rc a certain amount per day. The only thing that could stop you getting a hilt through this method is if they suddenly rise, or nats suddenly crash (haven't for 4+ years, don't see why they would now)

If you decide to take on the GWD yourself, if you spent the same amount of time boss killing as you would have rcing, you could get a drop on your first day, you might not get it at all. If you've ever been KQ you'll know what i mean  you could also get enough smaller drops to pay for a hilt.

The thing with soloing though is, you spend way more on supplies per trip, and since you'll only kill 1-2 bosses per trip you'll spend most of your time getting kill count rather than getting boss kills. It would be much more worth while getting a couple of mates to gwd with you.. a team of 3 can usually get 6-7 bandos kills a trip and when i go.. the rubbish drops usually pay for my supplies. My best advice would be to do a few thousand nats a day then go for a gwd run or 2 with a couple of friends. best of both worlds.
