Combat training for a lvl 106

Featured Replies

Hello.

So I havn't played in a while and am wondering where the best places to train combat at present.

As stated, im combat 106 with

83 attack

92 str

80 def

88 hit points

Another thing i would like to know is, what it the best way to level. By that i mean, is it correct to still use rune/dragon items or are there faster ways using those barrows sets?

Thank you

Slayer is a good way of training combat, good drops at higher levels and you're training 3 skills at a time.

Guthans can be used at many places to train combat efficiently, such as at bandits.

The best place, by far, is training at dt skeles with a salve(e) ammy. Your def is high enough, so you won't get hit too much. Just bring guthans and some att/str pots. You should get at least 80k/hour (AFKing).

Don't waste your time training with dh, since a scim or gs are much better.

At 110 combat i should have been getting 70l+ an hour at dt skeles, but it ended up being more like 50k an hour. Not sure why.

1. Did you use salve(e) ammy?

2. If you used dba spec, did you use restore pots?

3. Did you use cheap armour (ie around rune)? Using guthans to heal more often really drops your exp.

4. Did you train on a full world (faster respawns)?

5. Did you switch every 10 min, right after they stopped attacking?

That's all I can think of. I trained there for 99 str and def, and I always managed 80k (ie 800k+/day lmao).

Thanks for the tips.

I tried dt skeles. got almost exactly 50k attack exp in the first hour. I did have to use guthans quite a bit and so got about 6k exp in defence and str as well

pretty good exp! and very easy to semi-afk like i did. Only problem is the drops, which are awful :P

May i ask you what this line meant?

'Don't waste your time training with dh, since a scim or gs are much better.'

I am unsure about the abbreviations. Thanks
