Supreme (dagannoth kings)

Featured Replies

Well I was thinking of Going "Dking" after Jordanweb learned me how to do it. There were just one "con" Which is named supreme. Supreme will keep attacking me untill i either killed it or teleported.

I now wonder how I should kill it.

Melee - Jordanweb Said this would be the only way. If it is, is 70 attack enough?

Ranged - I have 99 ranged and I wonder if it's efficient killing it with diamond (e)

Magic - I don't even bother trying. :P

I'll specify what you should do since you didn't specify what role you were playing with in the lair

Solo maging - Have a suicider tank supreme for you until you reach the southern east of the lair, after the suicider dies, supreme will not attack you at the south eastern corner of the lair. From that point on, don't wander near the center of the room, if you need to kill prime, head north along the eastern coast.

Hybriding- Make sure you have a team first, preferably another hybrid with you to help you fight supreme and prime and a mager (for rex). Use a whip against supreme praying mage (against prime), kill supreme and head to the northern eastern coast to range prime ( so supreme doesn't attack you when he spawns). Repeat after you kill prime. You can probably range pray for a few seconds when prime is down. The mage is necessary so he will be fighting rex and rex will not come after you.

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

hybrids usually kills supreme. unless you had a specific role of going after supreme only and the rangers going after prime. anyways hybrids mostly use d hally spec and then use a guthans spec to heal. for the meleers, its not so easy since primes next to supreme and having to protect from magic from prime, leaving you no protection from supreme. your best option for meleeing supreme would probably be a good range protection + prayer. for hybrids, start reading dking guides!

Well I was thinking of solo maging Without a suicider my tutor Jordanweb did it a couple of times he said without having a suicider/hybrid.

My question is can I bring Ranged gear to kill supreme (and running down south to get prime off) or is very slow killing it with ranged?

The other question is if melee is the only way, is 70 attack enough?

You should have at least 80 attack and str before you consider meleeing, you can probably run to the south west coast (so you don't get prime on you) and just pray on supreme the whole trip. The coast that you can safespot Rex would be close enough to get Supreme on you, even if he spawns and wanders around. Anyway, I'm not really sure about this. :-k

Yes, 70 attack is enough - Just take a super attack potion and 3 sharks for killing supreme.

Maybe tomorrow i can walk you through killing supreme then moving onto a solo mage role? Pm me when you next see me online. :)
