ductran1989
Yes this question is very common and yet it hasn't been clarified by Jagex or anyone. Does the charge black mask and uncharge give the same bonus to slayer? Example: black mask (10) Increase attk and str slightly Hit harder on slayer monster Example: black mask (0) No attk or str increase Hit harder on slayer monster So the charge one only give some boost to stats but it will allow you to hit harder on slayer monster correct? In other word will I hit harder on slayer monster whether I wear a charge mask or an uncharge one? Need 20 people to put down their thoughts to prove my lil dumb as brother he's a moron... Thank you ̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâéTran

Niall_Kay
The charges have no effect on your attack or strength bonuses, at any charge. The charges are just released randomly and lower you opponents defense. Neither does it effect the attack or strength bonuses when fighting slayer monsters. Hope this helps :D 99 Fletching | 99 Hunter | 99 Magic | Master of Quests
Umoria
And you ask this, because you want to feel good about yourself because of your brother? "We had gay burglars the other night. They broke in and rearranged the furniture."
Freesia
Trust your knowledge. Black mask (0) = Black mask (10) Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
Chartres
Taken from the RuneScape Knowlege Base: "Black Mask Black masks gathered from the corpses of cave horrors give a couple of bonuses when worn. Firstly, they provide Attack and Strength bonuses similar to a Salve Amulet when fighting your Slayer assignment. Secondly, the masks contain 10 spells that can reduce your opponent's Defence by 3-10 levels each time, regardless of whether they are your Slayer assignment, any other monster or another player. When the 10 spells are used, the mask and its natural bonuses will remain. " Note the last sentence.
