Hi guys, can anyone tell me how to kill the troll king easy

 

I dont have a halberd and would prefer to range if it is possible as melee you get hurt a lot!!!

 

my range is 52 and i use bone bolts

 

if i use protect from range can i kill this troll?

 

also is there a safe area to stand?

 

any other tips would be appreciated

This may work, but wouldn't you rather protect from melee versus the troll king? If I remember the quest, there isn't anyone ranging, aside from when you pass the mountain edge and the trolls throw rocks. In which case you could protect.

why not try some enchanted bolts (emeralds) to posion it ??

 

rune crossbow + best bolts u can use with range pot.........

i thought if u pro from meele he tosses u across the room.. watver.. i meeled Pro'd from range and i pwned him..

If I remember correctly, I beat him with Pro from Range. I hallied him though, so it might not be much help. Still, I only had to use about 8 swordies, and 1 dose of prayer pot. He's not that hard, just looks very frightening :

Do not range him.

 

 

 

I tried, with around 80+ range and addy dart(p) I couldn't hit him. I think he's invincible to range. Hope this helps
