November 21, 200718 yr Hi! I'm nearly 70 range! Woot! I was wondering which new weapon I should use at 70 range. Generally for some duels, killing harder monsters, and general all around ranging! I was wondering between Crystal Bow and Karil's Crossbow. If somebody who owns both bows could answer, it would rock, or somebody who owns one of the bows would rock too! Thanks for any and all help! Thanks! -Jamie Sig by me :D1337 total as of 3/2/08 at 14 : 52 GMT. Recieved 1338 total 32 minutes laterHawt Pixel avvy by JopieBarrow drops: (2) - Verac's Brassard, Ahrim's Hood
November 21, 200718 yr Get a crystal bow. It gives better xp/hour and is cheaper after you've repaired it 5 times. I don't know about killing high level monsters, but I'd suggest a rune c bow for that anyway. When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done. All skills 80+
November 21, 200718 yr If you are going to do CW, fight caves, minigames and hard monster killing, i suggest crystal bow.... But karils is good too
November 21, 200718 yr I would suggest a rune X-bow with mithril bolts or higher for killing high level monsters, and a Dorgeshuun X-bow with bone bolts for all around training. : If I had to choose between the Karils bow and the Crystal bow, I would have to say the Crystal bow if you can afford to get it's charges down, because it then generally becomes a rather cheap monster-killing weapon. November 21, 200718 yr depends on what you want harder hits: cbow faster hits:karils bow i personally like them both and own them both karil rips trough barrows in cw more often than c bow does. for some reason. but in the end its all up to you
November 21, 200718 yr Author Thanks for all the replies! The karils bow seems a bit more desriable atm, nice and fast, like range is meant to be...
