It depends where you cook it. I cooked 4k lobs in Catherby once, and it went fairlyquickly. I dont remember how long it took, but it went by very quickly. Just try not to get distracted by things and you can get the extra fishies/hour. What type of fish does not, I believe, affect how quick you cook them. I may be wrong though.

You should be able to cook the same ammount of anything per hour but it depends on the location. All you need to do is try 1 hour of cooking and see how many are cooked. Then times the xp of the fish you want by that.

Calculations for MY 99 cooking journey. Except it was nonmembers.

If you go to Edge bank (northeast corner) and light a fire outside to cook, you cook 26 in 1:15 minutes. That means about 1200 fish per hour. Which is 140k xp. But you get randoms and lag so I usually got 120k xp.

That means if you use anything higher than lobs you will get more xp. If you use Rouge's Den you will get more xp since you don't have to hold a tinderbox/logs.

Hope for a lot of maze randoms! You get a lot anyway.
