Close please, I'll redo in a better format for General Discussion. It was not meant as a suggestion, but as a "did Jagex use a suggestion" type thread.

Army: Mixture of NPC mages, rangers and fighters of all religious and racial blends (think the second to final chamber leading to the Dagganoth Kings), however there's commonality amoung the specific army of each Mahjarrat. Some armies are pitched in battles with each other while other parts hold defensive position against more powerful enemies (the players, heh heh).

 

 

 

Mahjarrat Generals: Five or more (Jagex has the mythology set up) each with hisser own army. Though not powerful in the KQ sense of the word, with ability to attack with magic, melee and/or range proves a difficult challenge. In addition, heshe is protected by hisser faithful lieutenants. Taking down an Mahjarrat General will be a team effort in the dangerous multi-combat, no level wilderness.

 

 

Now that sounds familiar, what is it that it reminds me of. I'm sure it's something recent... ;)

You may be thinking the God Wars Dungeon resulted as your suggestion. I doubt that. I've found clues about the GDW back in January 2007, 3 months after you suggested that quest. The clue was released by the Chaos Elemental:

 

"Way down deep where the frosts are clearing, way down deep where the dead are still fighting."

I'm not sure, but I think there were other things even older references to the GDW than that. Give me some time and I can find another that dates back before your suggestion. I have great suspicion that it is faked.
