You probably removed your sound drivers/program, you will need to reinstall it. Find out what the model number of your device is and who makes it. Go to their website and download the correct drivers.

Not the speakers, the sound card. Most likely it's built in to the motherboard so you could go to your computer's manufacturer site and they should have the driver posted there.

Ok, I googled my computer and I found a site where I can download the driver but idk which one to select.

Whats the model of your computer (the bottom part), the monitor is only a screen and does not have a sound card built in (and thats what was in the link).

Erm, how do I find that out? Because it doesn't say so.

Are you running Windows XP? If you were, you could always go back to a Restore Point from yesterday.

 

 

 

Start ---> Help & Support --> Performance & Maintenance --> Using System Restore to undo changes --> Run the System Restore Wizard

Seems the obvious choice would be to check on the driver. If you want to do that on a windows xp system I assume then go to control panel, administrative tools, computer management. Then click on device manager in the left frame. Should be able to expand the label sound, video and audio controllers and check that.

No, that would be a Restore Factory Settings restore.

 

 

 

This doesn't delete files, only programs etc to the date you specify.

 

 

 

Try it, it's the best option without having to download a load of rubbish.

K, I tried the restore thing but I keep getting that it is unable to restore to Saturday, blah blah blah. :(
