blade995
You probably removed your sound drivers/program, you will need to reinstall it. Find out what the model number of your device is and who makes it. Go to their website and download the correct drivers.

blade995
How do I find out the model number? I know the manufacturer is Logitech... Not the speakers, the sound card. Most likely it's built in to the motherboard so you could go to your computer's manufacturer site and they should have the driver posted there. lordkafei
Are you running Windows XP? If you were, you could always go back to a Restore Point from yesterday. Start ---> Help & Support --> Performance & Maintenance --> Using System Restore to undo changes --> Run the System Restore Wizard PvP is not for meIn the 3rd Year of the BoycottReal-world money saved since FT/W: Hundreds of DollarsReal-world time saved since FT/W: Thousands of Hours
kelerps
Seems the obvious choice would be to check on the driver. If you want to do that on a windows xp system I assume then go to control panel, administrative tools, computer management. Then click on device manager in the left frame. Should be able to expand the label sound, video and audio controllers and check that.

Start ---> Help & Support --> Performance & Maintenance --> Using System Restore to undo changes --> Run the System Restore Wizard I'll try this! Praying it works... EDIT: Does this method delete all my files and returns my PC to default? Because I don't want that. pryomancer
No, that would be a Restore Factory Settings restore. This doesn't delete files, only programs etc to the date you specify. Try it, it's the best option without having to download a load of rubbish.
