I think that you should be able to place bets on Duel Tournaments. IT'll be quite good having an NPC that'll act as a betting thing, and u give him your money and the bet. But betting can only occur in matches with the players being within 10 levels of each other, or less...

 

 

 

Think about it, place a bet on say, Texaskilla2003 of 10 k, and the odds are 10-1 against him. he then wins against fair opponents... Good money... Now then, place a bet of another 500k on him again, but he dies. 500k gone... oh well. :twisted:

 

 

 

: Whilst placing bets, you should also be able to spectate the match, that'll be a good thing because you will be able to see how your player is faring against all the rest. you might say, how about if his oppos are alot better than he is, well, that's not my problem, don't bet on him!

 

 

 

Bet on the underdog, and if he wins, it'll be good for you! The NPC will have to calculate the bets against other players and get fair odds.

hmm, good idea but no. people would just bet ridiculous ammounts of money, then say let the underdog win on purpose. so people would use this to get millions and millions of free rs gp.

maybe, but it is staking revamped, so jagex won't put it in.

It wouldn't work for regular dueling as people would rig it. Although it could be a possibility for the tournament.

 

But really I wouldn't see this happening as they got rid of staking for a reason.
