November 30, 200718 yr My family is gonna loose internet service because we lost our credit card and our dialup isp (Juno Platinum) automatically draws money from our credit account, if no money is there or the account is gone, our service is disconnected. Is there any dialup isp that allows you to pay via check, prepaid, or whatever option that doesn't require a credit card? also, the same thing is going on w/ netflix, so what can be done about that? thank you so much in advance for your generous help My Music Is My Life I love all of youHurt by the coldSo hard and lonely tooWhen you don't know yourself
November 30, 200718 yr ... automatically draws money from our credit account, if no money is there... I'm not sure what you mean when you say the service will be disrupted if their is no money in the credit account. Last I checked you always owe money in a credit account. If you do not want that type of payment then you should ask them. They will most likely have another method of payment as will just about any other company at this day. I'm thinking the majority of us gets bills in the mail but I can't really make assumptions. If your parents can just not plainly afford it then you could try making a deal with them. For example you can give up something in exchange for continuing your internet service.
November 30, 200718 yr Author well, i say credit because that is what comes up whenever we buy something, but it is actually a credit union debit account (i think), but do you think payment by check (thus also being billed via snail mail) is availible? November 30, 200718 yr AOL takes check payments where you just put in your check account number instead of your credit card number. You can also pay for RS mems this way (sorta off topic). I think that should help :)
November 30, 200718 yr Won't you continue to get your internet service, but your card will just be severely overdrawn?
November 30, 200718 yr Actually I went on their website and clicked sign up. Then at the second paged I selected alternative payment methods and got this: Electronic check would seem to be the best one. It then should automatically withdraw from your checking account. You should again call and see if there is any better option for you. More providers you can call and look into is peoplepc or earthlink(slightly more expensive).
November 30, 200718 yr I use TotalUSA, and they claim to do billing by mail if you request it (on the Terms & Conditions of Service page). PvP is not for meIn the 3rd Year of the BoycottReal-world money saved since FT/W: Hundreds of DollarsReal-world time saved since FT/W: Thousands of Hours
