Money Making

Featured Replies

I never liked the concept of merchanting.

I am F2P.

First question,

Using my stats, what's a good way to make cash in F2P? I repeat, F2P.

I've been browsing the guides, so please don't redirect me there. I was just wondering for advice as to where I should put my stats to good use to earn cash for myself.

Second question,

I will become P2P pretty soon. And when I do, what should I do then? (This question isn't really as important as the first)

Yews are an F2P tree as well.. It's just a matter of finding a decent wc spot. Any suggestions?

Mining is excellent but boring as hell.

Wc is ok because you can "multitask".

fishing it's ok but quite boring. (running a long way for bank etc.)

Combine mining and smithing = steelbars. Easy sold as f2p

yew is mentioned , Gold ores also a good candidate for cash.

Steel bars, there's a big market in f2p. You can mine the ore yourself, or you can buy the ore and smith it yourself (if you still want some exp) and still make a profit.

Woodcutting yews or willows are pretty good, I guess. THERE HAS BEEN A HUGE DECLINE IN WOODCUTTING BOTS!!! I have noticed. You can woodcut yews... very slowly, or willows, but the money comes much slower (~20 willows per 1 yew).

Another would be world 16 air crafting, but you need at least 55(?) runecrafting before profit happens.

I bought steel bar materials, and am going to smelt them.

It'll raise my smithing to 56 (not that much), and will earn me from 800K (4000 coal, 2000 iron) to 1050K (2000 steel bars, 525gp each).

What do you guys think?
