Very creative but they're so sad :( - There is a forum for creative writing on here called varrock library or something.

A tattered old teddy

with only one eye

sits in the dining room chair,

under the sofa hides

one little shoe,

the one you've looked for everywhere,

there's mud on the carpet

along with the flocks you pick up

again and again;

and the small, sticky print

of a jam covered hand

graces the underpane

The rooms may be cluttered

the furniture worn;

but there's gladness

and laughter to share,

and a house where a child

is welcomed and loved

is the happiest home anywhere.

I've written poetry also for nearly 10 years and this one really stood out for me compared to the others.

Wow :D

The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

Nice. You'd probably like to have a chat with Issy if she's still around. She was into poetry iirc.

And yeah Varrock "nobody ever goes there" library, is probably the 'official' place for this. Though I thought it was only for rs related stories not stories to do with real life. I'll let the mods decide that one.

Yes, they moved it. Adding a new poem now.

I am really rubbish at analysing poetry, much better at stories so I can't really comment on them because I don't like them in general.

But there are three things to bare in mind:

1. There is a word limit and the chances are that with that many poems you will exceed that limit relatively quickly. It would therefore be my opinion that you:-

Open the word document.

Copy the individual poems.

Paste them into a Paint file.

Save them as a PNG(because its small)

Upload them to http://www.tinypic.com

Post the image to here.

2. Issy left a good while back so the chances are she can't help you, sorry.

3. Welcome to the Library, if there is anything you need(other than poetry advice) please let me know. :D

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

I'll keep that in mind if the thread doesn't die before I have a chance to post that many.

Threads here don't die. They arn't like a discussion that eventually dies because no one cares anymore, or if someone does care restarts it on a different topic. This forum doesn't have the sort of structure for something like that.

Topics will lie doment for....ages, but they still exist and while they still exist people will read them. I know this because(occationally) I will read the odd story from 9 pages ago. I don't know if anyone else does that or I am just sad as hell, all I know is that stories(and poems) can only ever be written once. After that they can only be discovered and if they are lost then it is forever.

Write them down, post them and they will exist as long as the forum exists. Keep them in your head and they will exist only as long as you do...

Adding 6 new Poems for all the days I missed.

I like the simple Romantic, Epics and dramatic monologue set in poetry.

What were the six new poems? (You've probably updated between me reading and posting this more than likely...)

Well, I added two so far. I'm adding one, checking, adding, checking, etc.

I added one called Goddbye about leaving a lover and coming back because of love. (Inspired by my wife)

And one called "If Only" which is about questioning other's beliefs but you probably wouldn't find that one appealing.

Adding the other three poems after dinner.

Thanks,
