Why are these disabled?

I scanned with Mcafee SecurityCenter, Spybot, and also Ca Pest Patrol. And nothing comes up.

Is it Mcafee that disables it since it has a firewall and other stuff.

It disabled my pop blockers so I think it could be Mcafee but I wanna be sure if it's a trojan or something.

Just check that some of the alerts in Mcafee (like windows firewall were disable) were not checked so I dunno if that fixes the situation.

Mcafee security center I believe replaces the Windows security center. It's nothing to worry about :) . Unless you disabled that Windows notifies you when you are not running an active virus scanner, firewall ect.

Try fixing them, if they come back after a restart, then it's probably Mcafee.

If that is the case, then trying to enable the Windows options might mess everything up.

These programs are designed to be "user proof" which means if the user accidentally enables it, Mcafee will just turn it off so there is no problems (that is, if Mcafee is doing this in the first place). I have tried this with Mcafee before.
