Why is RuneScape a 'Game for Nerds'?

Featured Replies

Eh I can always laugh at them when there failing high school/collage

So playing Runescape/any online game means that you won't fail school?

Maybe the people who call Runescapers nerds are the ones that instead of playing Runescape, they study and get good grades.

But those people don't flame people for being nerds though. They usually keep to themselves.

What is your definition of a nerd anyways?????

Laughter is often the best medicine...so laugh!

Well, nobody agrees on a definition of "nerd", so its all subjective...

I think:

Geek: Video gamer, on internet a lot, not athletic nor intelligent. Usually dresses with ugly black t-shirts with geeky pictures on it. Is more social than the nerd.

Nerd: The socially inadequate and ugly little guy that would get bullied at school. Good at school, shy, dresses nerdy, gets a good job, etc..

I don't really let those kinds of comments get to me. They probably say it cause they think that online games are a fit for "nerds". I just play it for fun. :|
