Artificial_Doom_Flavor
I've heard something about two new games by JaGeX coming out sometime next year. Was RuneScape intentionally destroyed to pave the way for these games, to perhaps phase it out so that JaGeX could focus on their future projects? This seems a very unlikely possibility, but with all that's been going on... Still enjoying RuneScape?
berserking1
i remember an article posted here on tif a couple weeks or month ago saying that jagex intended to keep rs its number one priority for 5 years. don't quote me exactly on that, but that is what i got out of whoever posted the article
monkeyboo2
NO, destroying RS ISN'T intentional. If RS was intentionally destroyed, people would not move to other jagex games, because they wouldn't want to rejoin a company that stabbed them in the back once. Jagex aren't stupid. They are simply doing what they think is best to remove RWITing. Yes, they have gone too far; making a little war out of this, and are doing the wrong thning for the game as a whole, but not deliberately. They don't want to ruin their company image, because no-one would ever buy from them then. Yeah...Some people just go out of their way to ruin other peoples fun.Sounds like Jagex to me... SwreeTak
No, this is not a likely theory. Why would Jagex want to destroy a game that they have worked so hard on? And as long as they don't make the new games very alike RS it seems very stupid to try to make RS lose players. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
