Since jagex was loosing money from chargebacks of credit cards make it so a credit card can only be used for 1 acct. that way for other accts ppl have to pay by mail/check/sms...this would prevent from fraud charges being made on credits cards and jagex loosing money...

1. That would only solve half the problem.

 

 

 

2. Jagex should implement more secure fraud-protection. I've seen some really involved systems involving bank phone number, personal phone number, etc., and all of these need to match with your bank's records.

Why not just eliminate the pay by credit card method? I'd rather have this then some of these new updates :wall:

it would solve a majority of the problem, it wouldn't eliminate bots but it would actually make them pay for it (for the most part)

you eliminate CC.. then people buy via paypal.

 

 

 

bots use paypal using credit cards they stole.. paypal bans rs from taking payments.

 

 

 

You eliminate paypal and institute and card pay system that you can buy at shops all around the world.

do we see a pattern? its not the method but that bots are able to get in the game in the first place :/

They are taking precautions to prevent fraudulent payment at the moment, it is their major focus. However, in the past people have gone as far as creating level threes, paying for a month of membership and at the just sending a message to the billing support reporting the payment as unauthorized.

 

 

 

They will start taking more action against the IP addresses recorded at the time of these later on unauthorized payments for sure though.
