Ok, so it's smaller than I expected... I'll enlargen it tomorrow.

I am pretty bad at this stuff seeing as it is my second time and this was made in Microsoft Paint... Not exactly the best program #-o . I guess I will need to do a lot of shading to make it better...

Any tips or constructive criticisms are being accepted...

Btw: The guy is holding a d axe and guthix prayer book. He's supposed to be wearing a santa, full guthix, glory ammy, d boots, red gloves, and wc cape. I did not expect it to come out so small so I will try to change that later on. Once (or if) I ever complete this, it will be my new sig.

Haahaa, thanks :)

To elmo: does paint automatically save it as JPeg or is there a PNG option for it? I don't have adobe photoshop or GIMP right now. I will probably end up installing it in the end, but for now, I'm working with Paint. If there is a JPeg option, can you tell me how to access it? :anxious:

Sorry, but I'm too busy tonight to work on it. Between shoveling snow and working on my lab write-up, I haven't had much time to do anything runescape related.

I hope you realize that when you make it 'bigger' you'll just stretch it out and make it look more pixelated and worse.

Anyways it is too small to even make out any sort of details, but its pretty blegh. The colors are poor, it looks like his ears are triangles, and it looks more like an elementary kid's drawing than a pixel art piece.

Also "JPEG" "PNG" and such are all file extentions. When you save an image in paint (or any program for that matter) it will give you an option what to save as via a drop down menu at the bottom. For future reference your best bet is to use "PNG" in paint or "GIF" if you need to really get it bellow the 30kb mark (if it is too large.)

You don't want to ever save an image as JPEG in paint because paint has a horrible JPEG compression. Likewise, never save a pixel piece as JPEG simply because of the way it handles compression. I won't get into details but pretty much it will produce 'artifacts' (extra pixels in various places) that you did not put there. It isn't noticeable in abstract art and such, but in pixels it is very noticeable.

It was bigger when I did it in paint so I think it shrunk when I uploaded it. I had more detail before (well, detail meaning his eyes, a little better hair, a smirk on his face, the guthix symbol on armor, etc...).

Thanks Elmo. I'll try that and see if it looks better.
