well my last post died =\ (too many people complaining and stealing my ideas) so i am posting here on tipit. i've had many ideas on how to improve the game in the past but this is my best and i spent alot of time thinking and typing it so please read carefully and post your thoughts and suggestions

thank you

and to all you die hard runescape fans i have been playing since 2001 survived scams, hacks, lures, friends running off with borrowed items... and i will not quit because of an update your not alone fight through and survive for the love of runescape ... dont quit

well face it everyone in the game has asked for an item or lent out an item but who can you really trust? well anyone if this system is added

>>>item sharing<<<

here is how it works all you need to do is goto any bank in runescape with a friend talk to the banker and ask to lend an item to a friend (Ibcrootbeer wishes to lend you items) will appear in the friends chat box if he accepts a screen wil pop up with a box where you click items to lend and set a time limit upto a week to when the items will be returned you can lend items for 5 hours 24 hours 2 days ... 6 days or a week then the items will be returned to the owners bank however if the bank is full the owner will get a message and the items will be sent to a special collection box like for the gand exchange and he/she cannot lend more items untill it is emptied (simple yet effective) in the case of barrows armor any damage done will be added to the gold lending system (as explained below) and will need to be paid off by the lendee in a week

>>>gold sharing<<<

this works differently to share gold you goto the same screen and click on gold sharing instead of item sharing then enter the amount upto 10 million gp and set the time to pay item back upto 4 months 16 weeks and as little as 3 days simply the player will have to pay off a set amount every week (if you borrow 1m for 1 month its 250k a week, 10m for 4 months its 625k a week, or 100k for 3 days its 34k a day easy)

>>>what if i die?<<<

well first off you cant bring borrowed items or gold into the wilderness so bounty hunter and clan wars is off limits and if you manage to die anywhere else hey u have a gravestone so instead of items/gold despawning there sent to the owners collection box

>>>poor cant pay? not logged on?<<<

gold payment will be automaticly paid off if a player isnt on to pay the debt gold will be taken from their bank or if the owner decides they can have the items of their lendee auctioned off for cash to pay off the debt and with the new unbalanced trade the player will (most likely) have the money to pay off debt. Alternitively if the loaner is nice he/she can postpone payments for a week upto 2 total times after that they must pay or they'll lose their stuff

the player can use the gold to buy anything he chooses however if he loses it dueling in torniments he cannot pay back in full (how can anyone lose 10m in torniments) so you have to be careful who you lend money to however it is much safer then old methods and you'll be able to help out a friend in need

wadda ya think?

Pretty good. Ill have to analyse it to look for mistakes... <.<

But the "what if I die" part is particularly good because good farmers cannot trade their lended money to cheaters. Howeverpeople who merchant, if they die, they cant mmerchant back the money. Also, i could see a few problems. The person could borrow the money, spend it all then never log back in. Maybe you should make it so that if then money is due back, then it just comes to the person (like a monster just died and sent the money straight to their inventory) and is constantly lost from the bank account of the person who owes it. Then the money can be paid back, regardless. However, i did not think about this thoroughly so meh

read poor cant pay again =]

if a player isnt on to pay the debt gold will be taken from their bank or if the owner decides they can have the items of their lendee auctioned off for cash to pay off the debt

I forgot to add that they can also postpone payments for a week upto 2 times if their friend has no money atm

This would help with situations where a hacker takes over a friend-of-a-person's account, so I will support this, seeing as it would help the friend get revenge on the hacker through the person who loaned the friend something.

Kinda cool, actually.

Sounds like a good idea, and Jagex said they would add this soon.

However, gold sharing might not work. The player could buy items and then somehow ditch them or loose them, and it would be VERY hard to track them, as your bank and inventory are simple variables. Cut out the gold lending, and, keep your item lending suggestion. Think it would fare very well.

Controls-Lending (Topic started by Ibcrootbeer )

This will allow you to lend or borrow items from other players. To be able to lend, you need to have collateral.

A Collateral is an item used by the borrower to guarantee his payment. This will be in a form of money or item(s).

How to start lending:

1. Player to Player.

Approach and ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâright-click̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ a player you wish to lend with. And you will see a box for lending.

lendingcontrolsp2pkf0.jpg

The lending window:

Once you have found someone to lend with, click on their character with the right mouse button, and select the 'Lend' option.

The other player will be informed of your request.

To accept lending, they may click on your character and also select the 'Lend' option.

The trade options apply here, as well as, the second checking for last minutes changes.

Additional feature like the Due Date and Return Option are added.

The Due Date allows you to set a time for the lending to last. This may be in Week(s) or Month(s).

The Lender, however, sets how long the lending time lasts.

The Return Option enables you to choose on the different choices you want to get you items back as.

When the option circle is red in color, it means that the other player has chosen another way it has to be returned.

If it is green, it means that you two have agreed on how the item has to be returned.

Advantages:

1. No items will be lost, as items borrowed will not be tradable then.

2. Unlike using assist, this feature lets you move around and improve on your other skills.

3. Lenders can help other players level up on thier skills

4. At the same time, you are recieving the items they made (as Lenders).
