Featured Replies

I am going for 60 def, should I get 5 str? Will that help me?

Or should I get 10 atk, and stay 1 str ?

What should I do for 60 def...

Thanks

Erm... For what are you going to use this defence thing? If it's for monster hunting or something like that, balanced skills are better. Or you could become a tank ranger/mage. And for staking it isn't worth the effort anymore.

Don't worry about why I'm making a def pure. I won't get balanced combat stats because it's a def pure...

As you know pures are dead, but if you want a def pure anyway, i suggest to get ranged and magic lvs....but if you want 60 def get 10 att ::'

Oh in that case I'm not sure if 5 strength is worth it. You'll probably hit like 1 more.

Oh so getting 10 atk is a better deal than training with 10 str?

yes, cause with att you can use black wep, and 10 str you will hit 1 or 2 more, so worths 10 att

Yeah one extra damage isn't really worth it, espicially when black will bring that anyways. I recommend a mage tank.

Can't wait to see another level 40 in full dragon!

I'd say no.

Look up some quests that give defence experience and then try those.

Continue what you have been doing, using the best sword you can (even if this means quest sword or machete or CW?) and slowly get to 60.

Use genie lamps and books of knowledge on defence...

You're almost there (about half?)! :P

Here's all the quests I've done on my pure. I think I've gotten 30k def xp total from them...

The quest

"Between a Rock..."

gives 5,000 defence experience and is possible.

Use lots of food and recoil rings and your sword to beat the level 75, should be relatively easy (seeing as level 3s can do it with just recoil rings)

EDIT:

And then go down the list a bit to the section called "Freely chosen:" and then you can see some quests that give you an experience lamp where you can choose a skill, most of the time defence is an option, too.

"Fairy Tale Part II, A - Cure a Queen" gives 2500 experience to the skill of your choice

"Tail of Two Cats, A" gives 2500 x 2 for any skill (over level 30)

"Shadow Of The Storm" gives 10,000 experience to any combat skill

"Contact!" can give 7,000 x 2 to any skill

"One Small Favour" gives 10,000 x 2 to any skill over 30

you might be able to get 20,000 exp from Recipe for Disaster, I don't think so, though

EDIT2: Oh, didnt see you already did the two italicized ones

EDIT3: Whoops, the underlined quest is not possible, didnt see the quest requirements for it.. sorry..

Basically, try the two bolded ones haha

Thanks for the quest suggestions! I'll look into them.

So should I still get 10 attack?

  • Author

I'm making a new thread, I need help with a quest...

Nvm, I'm not even going to bother with Contact! and Icthlarin's Little Helper, way too hard for a level 23 atm.
