Hi, i currently have level 60 crafting and have got this far by using cow hides.

 

Does anyone know another way to level up that is more profitable and gives fast exp at the same time? Im aiming to get 63 crafting so i can make green drag hide bodies and possibly high alch them or something. Anyone got any advice?

Don't discount flax spinning. If you fletch, take the time to make your own bowstrings. It's easy and profitable...not the quickest crafting XP, but certainly worth it IMHO

 

 

 

 

 

Making glass and then battlestaves is also quite profitable.

 

 

 

I recommend at least try all the crafting options available, as many people find different things enjoyable. then go with what you enjoy! (hoping you find something enjoyable)

From my experience make Green Dhide and alch

This is a good way. Pretty high requirements, though you will not lose anything and gain both mage and crafting XP.

 

 

 

Buy seaweed from GE

 

Buy buckets of sand from GE

 

Super Glass Make (77 Lunar spell) 13 seaweeds and 13 buckets of sand.

 

Rinse and Repeat.

 

 

 

Even if you put the molten glass in GE at lowest price you will still profit. You also get up to 1.5 the molten glass you'd get normal glass making.

 

 

 

Works out (from memory) 130 crafting XP and 78 mage XP per 13 seaweed/sand.

I agree with method but never make any of the d'hide chaps for alching to get your money back. Here's why...

 

 

 

Greed d'hide vambraces:

 

 

 

• Green d hide=1,500
   
  Tanning cost=20
   
  Total=1,520
   
  High alch value=1,500
   
  Net loss=20 (Providing you get your own Nats)

 

 

 

Greed d'hide chaps:

 

 

 

• Green d'hides (2)=3,000
   
  Tanning cost=40
   
  Total=3,040
   
  High alch value=2,340
   
  Net loss=700 (Providing you get your own Nats)
   
  Net loss per hide=350 (Providing you get your own Nats)

 

 

 

Then when you can make bodies you will start to make a small profit...

 

 

 

 

 

Green d'hide bodies:

 

 

 

• Green d'hides (3)=4,500
   
  Tanning cost=60
   
  Total=4,560
   
  High alch value=4,680
   
  Net profit=120 (Providing you get your own Nats)
   
  Net profit per hide=40 (Providing you get your own Nats)

 

 

 

This ratio is the same for all d'hides.
