Duo Dking on budget?

Me and my friend want to go duo dking, just to try it out. I have a few questions.

 

 

 

1. Is it easy? Like as easy as kbd/Kq, because we've both done them and got abit bored of them.

 

 

 

2. We dont have anything special like guthans or veracs (well i have guthans, but i dont want to risk it) so what armour should we take?

 

 

 

3. Do you always kill all 3 of the kings? or can you just kill 1 or 2 over and over. if so, which ones should we kill?

 

 

 

4. Here are our stats, what role should i be (melee/mage/range) and what role should he be?

And yes, we can both use slayer dart. But he can not use crystal bow.

The only real way to duo dk is to do duo mage. You still need a 3rd friend to suicide for you though. To enter you just go in, run along the south shore and shoot rex once till you get to the safe spot. After 3 seconds your suicider comes in and gets prime and supreme off you.

 

 

 

In gear other than veracs or guthans you will not last long. The level 76's around the edges can do some massive damage and even I have a hard time saying at a reasonable hp down there when I am 96 def. If you just want to try it out, bring rune and granite shield + maging stuff (Slayer dart, mystic boots, farseer helm).

You really should give it a try, its pretty enjoyable seeing free daxes and zerker rings on the floor.

 

 

 

All you need to know is how to get rex to the safespot without prime getting on to you (otherwise you will pray mage until trip is over), how to use your pots conservatively (the sara\restore ratio), and just plainly how to say "WOOT" when you get your first axe. With gravestones you don't need to worry about losing items as you just can come back there if your partner blesses it.
