We finished watching it in history class today, wow. I thought oh another random movie about history, most of which only contain dates and people droning on and on about the most boring parts of history, then he pops this movie in, the best movie ive ever seen in school.

 

It's about the East and West germany, well mostly the East. Its really engrossing even though the sub titles do demand a bit of attention. It really pulled me in and to be honest i almost cired toward the end of the movie. :anxious:

 

Have any of you watched it? Its won a few awards too. :D

Oh yeah, Das Leben der Anderen is an awesome film. I actually just yesterday told my friend he needed to see it. I haven't seen it in quite a while, I;ll have to check it out again soon.

i have the DVD for few months now but still havn't watch it.

 

when too many people recommends me a movie i am starting to get suspicious if it realy that good...(twisted,i know)

I was glad I catched it in cinema the last day it played. Good movie, excellent ending.
