alphakoldes
Hey there. Recently looking for knowledge about penguin (don't ask!), I found this: As noted here, in your Cure a Queen quest guide: Ya don't need to actually complete the quest, just start it. (and do like 1-2 steps) I don't know if any of the other bestiary logs have this in their description, but I figured you may want to be informed.. as there is a pretty fairly big difference between just starting, and actually finishing the quest before being able to use the fairy rings. Sorry if this is too nit picky, but I figured a quickly closed topic is better than not wanting to help make a correction to an already great site. -Thanks -Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now. Ginger_Warrior
Thing is, it's not strictly upon starting the quest either. I've edited the entry to give a more accurate point at which you can use the Fairy Ring Network. That's the best way I could think of wording it, so I'll leave this thread open to see if anyone else has got any ideas. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
alphakoldes
Yeah, I kind of showed a problem without offering a solution. My fault! Perhaps something along the lines of "access to the rings after completely a small portion of the quest" or something along those lines. -Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now. darkblade986
"You can access this spot by using the coordinates _ _ _ after you are taught to use the rings during the Fairy Tale II - To Cure a Queen quest." Of course, we should add the target=_blank, or whatever that was that, we've (or you've) been using Ginger on the dungeon maps so that it makes a new window, but this explains perfectly up to what point you need to get to. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
alphakoldes
Yeah I think that would work really well. -Man, I really do love Runescape, and I'm sure if it was a real person I would of asked it to marry me by now.

To be honest, I've only been using that on the maps, or where I've felt it's exceptionally needed. You don't want to overdo it or you'll spam up the user's browser with about 10 seperate pages. I think this is a case where that exception is needed though, since the quest is completely unrelated I've added what darkblade's wrote. Since this has been dealt with, I'll lock up. Thanks for helping. :) Locked ~Ginger Warrior | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
