Evil Pig20 Posted December 22, 2007 Share Posted December 22, 2007 When I try to log in on the snazzy log in screen for the forums (and polls etc) it just freezes =/ I have the latest ersion of Java so I really cnat see whats wrong..... Deleting the cache files DOES NOT prevent you from playing. Deleting them just forces a complete reload of all the RS game files instead of the typical updates. Cruiser Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 I suggest you get a clue and figure out what's wrong with your computer then. The cache folders have nothing to do with the login applet. I just wiped both cache folders and the browser cache just to check. Guess what? It loaded fine. Rmstn1580 Posted December 24, 2007 Share Posted December 24, 2007 It freezes because since you installed the latest version, Java is updating your cache. It will freeze your computer for a bit, then a window will pop up saying something like "Java is updating your cache for JRE 6.something" and a progress bar will pop up.
