Like Jagex said in trading they are going to raise the limit of gold depending on combat level they should do the same thing with PKing. The higher your combat level the more you can take in to wilerness and no gravestones. Now pures are used to PK and people would say that because Pures have around 50-70ish level so they might not be able to take in waht they wanted. Well say theres a pure thats level 78 with 99 range now becasue they arent that high combat they might not be able to take in all they wanted cause 78 combat, but because of haveing a very high combat effecting level ( so woodcutting bots with 99 wcing cant take in money for RWT) they could take in more. Or the time that the account has been played could effect it as long as they have gained a few levels (besides wcing. wcing bots again) they could take in X amount of items. Last QP i know pures dont do many quests but so they could PK im pretty sure they would consider it.

 

 

 

Now Thats my idea oh and just so you know i dont care about PKing, dualing, ETC. I play for levels and i get money through like my blog says barrows and item drops. i made a pure but mostly cause i was boed and wanted to do some quests again.

But there's a problem there, Alot of macros are high combat lvl because of green dragon, I've seen lvl 100 green drag gold farmers -.-

You could always involve skill total :)

good point but right now the best solution is QP or total level cause for PKing to come back if i was a pure i would raise my skills up or do some quests good job hippo

how about if they base it on quest points? i dont know of any macroers doing quests in any significant amount, the more quest points u have, the more you can bring into the wildy.

Quest points is a good idea as a lot of pures do quests in order to get the best gear possible and while they won't have as much qp as others, it will still be a large diference between them and bots.

"You believe" it is mostly teams, apparently you haven't spent much time there... if you did you would notice that it is pking degraded to its lowest level. Everyone 1 items, and teams... it is pathetic at best.

 

 

 

And knowing jagex there will definitely be a catch to the 1 v 1 arena, not to mention they most likely won't get around to implementing it for a couple months. I highly doubt they will allow 1 v 1 pking anything near what it used to be. most likely they will implement some points system, which if done correctly could work out well. I guess we'll just have to wait and see... in the meantime i'll be getting 99 ranged on my pure.....

What do you mean "What it used to be"? I used to solo pk all the time, until it just became stupid. Couldn't solo at mage bank as you'd run into a team of about 10 people where most of the time you stood no chance and edge was just full of people that would run when they're down to 10 sharks, and you'd get pile jumped 90% of the time.

 

 

 

It doesn't surprise me that Bounty hunter isn't doing well, the pking community has been rubbish for years now and I don't see that getting any better.

 

 

 

However, that is not a problem with the game but with the people that play it and thus the only solution to the "problem" is for people to actually have respect for other people and a fair PvP system. If the 1 vs 1 PvP "minigame" is good which I'm sure it will be then I may just get back into pking.

Oddly enough darkdude, i'm a vet from the gamefaqs board too, i remember you. I'm panda bears... was pretty well known on those boards... but i play only on my range pure now.

 

 

 

Anyone who has been around knows pking is nothing like it was is rsc. But at least with the old wildy system you could choose who you fought and whether you were in multi or not. Give me that at least =D.

Even with the multi/non-multi you'd still be "teamed" in non-multi, which was really annoying. We can only hope that the 1 vs 1 thing we've been promised works well, that way Bounty hunter will be like multi and 1 vs 1 minigame will be like non-multi, without the tagging.

Yes, I agree with you. The wild was far from perfect... but I would take getting tagged over getting attacked by 10+ 1 itemers anyday.

 

 

 

Hopefully jagex doesn't let us down with the 1 v 1 minigame.
