Zamorak because the armour looks good with santa hat :-w And guthix is the poor man's god armour, some lvl 70 in guthix got angry at me for saying that and started calling me emo because my santa hat "looked like blood" :XD:

Oh and if all else fails, there's Nerd: You're clearly not a noob so I need to find a new insult.

Well I recently got my first black mark/ mute and it was only 0.1, i didn't even know they cut them up that finely. I just checked and yeah still the 0.1. However i felt the punishment was very small for "encouraging others to break rules" (really I showed a friend of mine how to evade the censor)

I think that the 1 on 1 place should have a 1 level bracket place, a 15 level bracket place and a free for all levels place. I think that could be able to replace the old wilderness.

Actually, that would be a noun, not an adjective. You could put it as an adjective though "Yaz is so nooby"

Everyone get's it mate. Today I went to the Grand Exchange to buy a rune scim, as soon as i walk away from the counter, some guy wants to buy my rune scim. I tell him no and he calls me a noob. WE WERE AT THE DAMN GE! :XD:
-
^^ The GE has worked just as I expected, as a runescape "stock market". I made about 2 mil doing nothing except buying and selling like 30 rune sets on the GE at a time. I'd put in the offer to buy, leave for a while and then put in an offer to sell once I had bought. I was hoping to get a santa with the downward trend making them more affordable but I'm still too poor and now they seem to be creeping back up. And for me a santa isn't about the money, it's a reminder of playing back in RS1 where I saved the 100k or 200k (I cant remember now  ) to get a santa hat. I was so proud O:)

One point I disagree on. I admit that I tried scamming a few years ago for the reason that I got bored of rs AND it was amazing money for f2p. I used to refer to it as "extreme merchanting" you would buy sets of rune or even peices of god armour for 10k (I used to do the trick of changing 1000k to 10004). I started out of boredom but continued for the money, I made a few mil in about a week which was great for someone who only casually logged on and was f2p. Oh and the thing about high levels, everyone makes mistakes but higher level players were almost as easy to scam as their lower counterparts. The only time where I did it for the "trill of outwitting others" was when I scammed a scammer. (changed rune t legs to rune normal legs in the trade window) so I ended up buying his rune legs for 10k :-w Oh and for the record, I don't and havn't scammed in a long time and will never again.

Erm? :? But I'm pretty sure pokemon wasn't the first game to use pets to fight and I do feel that the main diference will be animals attacking people, not animals attacking animals. On the other hand... [hide][/hide] And as for the picture, I'd choose that game. My point is that there's no such thing as a real mythical creature, some jackalope with wings is just as "real" as a charmander. Neither exist.

It's even worse when you're f2p when they can freeze and teleblock and all you've got is a rune scim... I went to mine addy in the hobgoblin mine in the wild and was almost done after going through a few servers when suddenly I get teleblocked, frozen (at this point i put on protect from magic) and get MAGED 20, 21, 26 dead (through protect from magic). Who the hell gets 3 hit in f2p? :XD:

Really they just made runescape closer to being a 3rd world country. Anyone who produced raw materials (woodcutting, fishing etc) made less money and anyone who further developed those goods profited off the cheap labor. (Think big companies like nike that have factories in places like indonesia or china in order to maximise profit)

I'm just wondering is autotypers are legal in the game. I never use them and I tend to only report people for "macroing" if they are irritating me with it. So yeah my question is if it's legal for them to use it and if not, should I report them under macroing like I occasionally do?

I'm not sure why people support a deposit box but not bank. It's just as easy to deposit a load of lobsters in a bank then in a deposit box. Unless I'm misunderstanding something.

So and so fansite is better! No, this fansite is better!

I actually use them all, for a forum I use tip.it but I find that their guides are pretty poor so I tend to use RHQ's guides. I also use Zybez's market price guide whenever I wanna check something quickly without study. But as a forum and community, I always liked tip.it more, probably because it was the first RS forum I ever found. (scapeboard.com :P ) -
The ore is too impure and you fail to refine it
Yaz replied to therehadtobe1's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I think it would be better for either rings for forging to become f2p OR iron ores taking 2 ores instead of 1 to make a bar but with a 100% success rate. I remember hearing a long time ago that ores had a 50% success rate so it shouldn't affect much. In the case of the latter, the ring of forging to simple bring it to 1 ore per bar. Or if they were to implement your idea, they'd need to lower the rates so that it starts off less than 50 and ends up something like 85-95%. -
With a few minigames similar to BH I think the wild could be restored to its original "fun-ness" The first thing would probably be a free for all multi combat area which would end up like the BH of now with clans owning single people and free for all clan wars. With loot it could possibly be a lootshare kind of thing with over time it being shared evenly based on damage? The next should be a free for all 1 on 1 arena (possible with level restrictions), which would end up being similar to the castle or edgeville of the previous wildy. However in order to restrict RTW, restrict it to only a few worlds so it's always crowded and you don't have the opportunity to stay fighting one person and not get pile jumped after. Maybe have one part with a 1 or 2 level diference cap (to emulate edgeville wild) one with a 15 level cap (to emulate giants or castle) and one without a level cap. And finally I think the bounty hunter idea is a really good one but it needs to implemented better. Maybe it should be made so that, as someone sugested earlier, you are assigned to be either bounter hunter or rogue when you enter however it would need some sort of resitrction like only 10% of people being assigned rogue. Alternatively, they could make it so that you can only attack your target so that it essentially becomes a race between you and the guy trying to kill you. Basically I think the wild can be just as good as it used to without it being used as a means to transfer items.

I'm just annoyed that they ruined one of the best (and my favourite) training spots in f2p, the wildy ice giants.

For all those talking about Al Kharid, you do realise Al Kharid is a desert right? And deserts get very cold in the winter. Just becuase it rarely rains in the desert, doesn't mean it can't get cold enough to support snow not melting. Oh and you do realise antarctica is a desert by definition too? :)

Would jagex ever make runescape full screen?
Yaz replied to blink182rocker's topic in General Discussion
I actually prefer this size since I just got a 22' widescreen monitor and can read forums while never actually minimising the game :) My screen at the time of posting: -
Of course it depends on the situation but usually there are two options, world hop or counter. With counter you can either do the half damage thing yourself or set up a cannon as other people sugested. While f2p training at the lessers for example, some ranger was doing this so I countered by stealing his arrows. He didn't get the idea so I stuck to the ones he was targetting and continued doing as before (even if occasionally 1 away from him freed up) ended up with a few hundred arrows and not that much less xp. I think he learnt his lesson.

Yeah I gotta say, merchanting's easier now for me than ever. I've never really merchanted to make money until recently where I've been doing it and have made a few hundred k with literally 3 minutes work in total. I have chosen the 1 item I am working with and have 1 ad to buy at the market price, I can normally get it within 1 day. Once I find them all bought, I just put the price as the maximum price and put the add up for sale. They sell again within 1 day. While I'm not certain this will last for ever, there is a million new ways to merchant without ever trading with anyone. And I won't say what the item I merchant with is, because that wouldn't be good for business :D

Even though this post is like 2 years old, I couldn't help but reply. The funny thing is, if you posted the updates of the past 2 months 2 years ago you'd probably get similar responses  Seriously, imagine telling someone that staking would be taken out and the wilderness completely changed. Oh and XD

Quest points is a good idea as a lot of pures do quests in order to get the best gear possible and while they won't have as much qp as others, it will still be a large diference between them and bots.
