Bandos Godwars, and some tips for posting?

Featured Replies

Well, I'm new to tip.it

I got a 101 in runescape.

Got stats of 80 atk, 83 str, 80 def,

and wondering what should my inv be, what I should wear, and if I could solo Bandos?

Also some tips for posting as I hope I shall be here more.

That's all for now. :D

Use AOW guides, i know a good one here:

http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=719327

Thanks for the guide :)

But I got a few questions..

In the article:

"Graardor uses two different attacks. The first one is a powerful single-target punch Melee Attack. He always does it on the same person (the tank), and that's why he should use melee prayer. The second attack is a multi-target Ranged Attack. Graardor bangs the floor and ice shards fly at everybody. Everybody exept the one being punched should use ranged prayer.

When you have finished getting your 40 kills, make everybody from your team put LootShare on. Drink a dose of Saradonim Brew, then a dose or Super Restore, then a dose of Super Attack and Super Strength. Go to the Bandos Dungeon entrance, put Magic Prayer on, bang the door with your hammer, and go to the boss's door. The first person entering the lair in your team (tank) should put Melee Prayer on until Graardor attacks him. Then everybody should enter with range prayer on. Turn on Chivalry or Piety if you can.

Use your Dragon Dagger special attacks on Graardor, then swap for whip. ALWAYS WATCH YOUR HEALTH! When he is down, check the rewards. After, kill every other monsters. Go most North-West possible. The person in your team which is attacked by Graador then goes in the middle of the lair. Wait for him to respawn. Always check your prayer too. if you run out of prayer, teleport right away. There is an atlar that refills your prayer every 10 minutes. When the monsters spawn back, do the same thing. Drink Boosting Potions in same order everytime your stats are close to your real ones."

But can use you prayer potions?

Also, it says team.

Could you solo it, by always having melee pray on?

Then going killing him, then attacking the other monsters?

I'm sorry, I havn't tried the GW duegon yet.

:-$

1- Sure you can use your own p pots.

2- No its actually very very difficult to solo bandos even at 126 combat.. maybe at 138 when summoning comes out :-# who knows.

3- You always kill the general or main boss first then kill his sergeants or generals after you finish him off.

A small note: The reason it is so hard to solo is because his defence is pretty decent and his range attack hits pretty hard from time to time. 3-4 range attacks in a row can actually KO you, which doesn't sound like its hard to avoid (and it isnt when you get use to it) but when its your first time, those jitters can kill you... literally :? Plus the manger ad range "followers"(smaller guys in the room) can hit pretty hard too.

For your first time I would say get a team of 4-5 people together so you can get the hang of what to do and how to do it. Then as your stats and experience increase you can slowly lower the amount of ppl to 3. Which is IMO the best number to have. Duo wouldn't be bad, I guess, but the players would have to be like 120+ to do anything effectively.

Apparently, my signature was to big.

Well I'm not much of a team person, plus the new update wouldn't help that.

What would be the best GW person to solo, at 101 (training to 105) cb?

(sort of supplied, 20m, trimed cape, ect.)

The best person to solo use to be the zammy boss, however that was only becuse there was a glitch where if you could protect from melee and only be hit by the melee "follower" and the Big boss.

Unfortunatly they fixed that little bug so now there is no safe spot. Which makes zammy, IMO, harder than Bandos. Armadyl would be the easiest to solo at 99 range and 85+ def with a decent pray lvl (70+ Id say)

So if you have 99 range, 85+ def and 70+ prayer then by all means head to Armadyl and get the most expensive hilt in the game.

Seeing as how you do NOT like to team with people I would have to say, Sorry GWD is just not for you. It was introduced to encourage teamwork. Thats just how it is.

If you want to solo, you can solo mage at Dag Kings which is still decent profit, especially since the price of D wc's has jumped up and Rex (the guy you will be solo maging) Can drop Zerker and Warrior rings which are pretty pricey as well. Its no GWD but its worth a try.

Apparently, my signature was to big.

i wouldnt recommend soloing the bandos guy cuz he can hit hard. unless your like rich and have multiple sets of full d or 3rd age id take a team

Unfinished netherrack symbol of Khorne.

Never forget. ~creeper face w/single tear~

DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!
