dv_trainer
Just a few ideas: 1) Split Areas of each crater into either Multi or Single Combat Zones. Hell, add an area in each one where there are monsters or something that make it difficult to just hide in an unseen or unused area 2) Make the craters a tiny bit smaller AND make the areas more distingushable. Hey, i've been to here before, haven't I? Oh, its just another rock that looks the SAME as earlier 3) Tickets Please! I'd like rewards and awesome looking trophies for being able to slay people as easil as here, so for each Level of Treasure the person has you will get more tickets to compensate for the lack of rewards when they die Crater (A) (Open) = Level of Treasure times 2.5 Crater (B) (126-138) = Level of Treasure times 2 + amount shown on Bounty Crater © (85-125) = Level of Treasure times 1.5 Crater (D) (44-84) = Level of Treasure times 1 Crater (E) (3-43) = Level of Treasure times 0.5 4) The prizes? Runes, Food, Armour, Arrows, and Weaponry! There would also perhaps be a new Dragon Item released due to the magnitude the Bounty Hunter Volcano (and related recent updates) have had on Runescape 5) Make more Craters and space the levels out more A) Open Level Crater - High Risk. There will be monsters of all levels (in a quarter, as suggested in Part 1) and also players of all levels. Clans will stalk most of the crater too, making it hard to come without partners B) Levels 126-138 - You'll make do with it. As the Summoning Update is PROBABLY members, i'll assume that this crater would also. Because of this, there will also be a Bounty Worth next to the person you have to kill in order to make the game more interesting. Lava Pits would be in there too, randomly damaging people on whim C) Levels 85-125 - This will be easier than the current extreme in my experiences (ok, so I just know from friends that it is ugly to fight in the current Medium Crater thanks to the high levels) so this is a bit extreme, but worth it. Can you get the golden ticket? D) Levels 44-84 - This is the lower medium one. The monsters are low levelled, the rewards are obviously better earned in the Higher Level rings, but apart from this the same E) Levels 3-43 - The Lowest LEvel, and pretty easy compared to before. the Level 43s will dread levelling up though Ember: On the note of the GP:Ticket value I have not truly thought yet, but for the other point you have made I have been thinking about perhaps both people on the friend list/clan chat of another player which is in the crater WILL NOT be able to fight eachother*. Artificial Doom Flavor, your idea sounds like if it was added correctly it would be awesome. Does a Bloodlust Counter sound good? If you take 100 rounds of combat without dying you will get a 30 second increase in damage and get an additional ticket each time you kill someone. You will, however, have a red aura so that people will know that you currently have Bloodlust on On another note, I did not mention that tickets are untradeable with other players and are removed when you die unless banked prior. Also, Rogue bounty hunters get half the usual tickets placed into their inventory with half on the floor alongside normal loot *: But if people are doing a Open Level 'Find Me' or other such event there may be many people on the same clan chat, so the owner MUST specify if members on the chat can Hunt eachother. Otherwise they may not as described above. This option would have the following options: 1) Off - The Clan Chat owner has not set it or has decided to not allow this 2) Friendly - Attacks against people in the same clan chat as eachother do NOT yield tickets 3) Rivalry - The normal settings are in use, but killed members will be forced to 4) Death Match - The normal settings are in use, but killed members will be forced to stay out of the same crater of their comrades (this applies only if a comrade killed them of course) Boom! ember3579
Not bad. How much would the items cost in tickets? Balancing this out with the gp prices and how easy it would be to get tickets would be a massive strain, however. And whose to say that some moron out there won't get an agreement with some buddies to just massacre each other and get tickets that way? There'll have to be some sort of setup to prevent that. It would be one hell of a monster to program, though! :wall: :ohnoes: You never know which rabbit hole you jump into will lead to Wonderland. - Ember3579Aku Soku Zan. - ShinsengumiYou wanna mess with me or my friends? On the same line, if you're not willing to back up your opinions no matter what, your opinion may as well be nonexistent.
Artificial_Doom_Flavor
I think people with the balls to stand up to swarms of noobs should be rewarded. For every two hundred hits you take in the crater without dying, you get a ticket. Still enjoying RuneScape?
