If you got the one that comes with 2 games and a 20 gig hd, then it also comes with a 1 month gold XBL subscription.

 

 

 

 

 

When turn on the xbox(w/o a game) move your window over to the left until you get to the XBL section. Then click join, and enter all your crap.

 

 

 

 

 

I also think there might be a way to do it online? But I'm not sure....

Are you sure your connection is good?

What I did was register the gamertag from my comp, then bought a 12 month gold membership card from a local store, and retrieved the gamertag to my box. It was instant for me :S

Well, the installation went fine, but I cannot connect through XBLive. I get through most of the testing connection, then it fails on the part where it tries to connect to XBlive.
