I'd suggest leveling your range.

 

Also, if you can afford it, switch out the prayer pots and sharks for super restores and sara brews.

Not exactly though, it's outdated after the new updates - 'large' monsters can move diagonally.

I achieved my goal of a fire cape with the following stats.

 

 

 

70 attack.

 

70 strength.

 

70 defense.

 

70 ranged.

 

44 prayer.

 

60 magic.

You can do it with your stats, most likely. People wil always tell you "Higher Range", but 70 is just fine, ive seen people do it with 55 range...Anyways, its much easier w/o guthans from what ive heard.
