Zaaps1
I wonder, why should there be a penalty at all? Is logging out such a bad thing when you die? Infact, what is wrong with that? Surely jagex knows that players occasionally recieve the deadly connection loss. Just my ramblings; I may be missing something, but the whole thing seems unfair in the first place. Either way, I agree with you. A one-minute penalty, or perhaps none at all would be great. :) Thanks for your support. As I've said before, I don't know Jagex's reasoning, so I put it there to hopefully satisfy it. ~It's Super Effective! masaster123
apart from everything yours are saying, how about if when you die your grave ends up in a grave yard(new area) and you have to go into a door to see it and get your stuff but it stays there for 60mins. and the door is at the coffin for the restless ghost quest and everyone else can go in and see the graves but they cant go grave-robbin'. it would be a wicked update o and your graves can appear when you die. i hope ppl just done look at like this or :-s but this would be good  hmm well wait WHAT?!?! Whoa there. Dying is supposed to be dangerous... After the anti-RWT update, something reminiscent of 'Diablo 2' (corpse/grave appear next to you on next login) would be best, especially to encourage players to "Try again and not become permanently discouraged", because when discouragement happens, a player can lose sight of the fact that they are only playing a game, and therefore get upset and leave from it. RuneScape is meant to be fun, but losing your stuff just steals from the experience. Being given it back for a little (less than 1 minute) clicking distance, instead of having to walk all the way back to where you died, and not having the grave disappearance times, would lead to more players remaining online and possibly the chance of more P2P gained from F2P. Why? Simply due to the fact that instead of upset being caused, people get the feeling like they want to try more often, and that Jagex does want them to try, instead of failure having an oversize penalty, which would repel players more often than not. Okay, I'm getting a little rant-ish here, so I'm gonna leave this open for more discussion. ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people...
