I am 99 def , currently im working on 90 att ( 1 lvl away) and 90 str ( 4 lvls away). So im wondering when i get those stats is this a good setup to kill mith dragons?

 

 

 

Armor : Magic defensive - to protect from magic attacks

 

 

 

Tactic - Mele pray ( As mele hits harder than mage : )

Again her's stats ill have : 90 str and att + 99 def.

 

 

 

Killing 5 of em per trip is fair for me, ive heard u can do 6 even with mele.

If your going to melee them and Praye Melee, then you would prolly wanna use Karils i think. Maybe with veracs helm.

Anyhow i am gonna wear karil, but a friend suggested 330+ mele defenses and praying mage instead.

Won't a mele definsive setup work? Considering i am lvl 99 def?

Um.. not sure but here's a good "set-up"

 

 

 

Helm: Verac's Helm --> Helm of Neitz'

 

Body: Karil's top (protect melee) --> Torags body (protect mage maybe, and with piety for extra melee defense :S I dunno)

 

Legs: Karil's skirt (protect melee)--> Torag's legs (protect mage maybe, and with piety for extra melee defense :S I dunno)

 

Gloves: Barrow gloves --> Dragon

 

Boots: Dragon --> Rune --> Infinity for it's slight magic defense boost *+5*

 

Ring: Ring of life --> Ring of wealth

 

Shield: Dragon fire --> Anti fire

 

Cape: Fire cape --> Skill cape (t) --> Skill cape regular

 

 

 

As for the invent.. I dunno bring sara brew, super stat, super stre, super attack.. lots of prayer pots, 2 anti fires.. eh maybe 1 anti poison not sure about the poison probably not, and ... a few sharks maybe, tele source .. I'm not sure never really hunted them

I have, but not fully bothered with details. Why? Cause it's based on 95+ Combat stats, but it helps in tactics i know \

Ive personally tried both methods (melee prayer with mage def gear and mage def prayer with melee def gear) And i'm only lvl 89 defence but i found both methods pretty equal in the damage i would take.

 

 

 

Because of this i would think that at 99 defence, you could maybe manage an extra kill per trip with melee defence gear, not a certainty but it may be do-able. i would suggest veracs skirt for the prayer bonus aswell if you do this.
