January 5, 200818 yr Kilobytes. Is there any way to do this? Does it make the image suffer? If it does, I'll probably still do it.
January 5, 200818 yr I assume you mean for a sig. You have to compress the image, and depending on how you do it it will have a small or larger effect on the size. It really depends what software you're using though...
January 5, 200818 yr Author How do I compress it? I mean for a banner-type-image, so it's smaller than a sig but it is a part of my whole signature.
January 5, 200818 yr Well I can tell you this, your signature is already pushing the 450x175 limit. Now if you're looking to have the size reduced, I'm sure someone here or in the Gallery forum could probably give it better size. Just post the image and one of us can take a stab at it. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
January 5, 200818 yr With your current signature, there's no way that you'd be able to get that new one to fit. So instead of tinkering with the one you gave, I took the one you already have and adjusted it so that your new one will fit. Remember, however, that the maximum size for your signature, including lines of text, is 450x175. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
January 5, 200818 yr His current sig actually exceeds the limits by some 80 pixels in height already (as do many people's sigs around here, but nobody seems to care). If he wants to add that badge and still be anywhere within the limit, the red sig has to get smaller and the text underneath it had to go completely.
January 6, 200818 yr Author If I deleted the quote, would that work? But I still wouldn't be able to keep the sig at the same size would I? darkblade, the quality kind of stinks, so I don't know what I'm gonna do. Maybe just get a new sig...

Cruiser actually has a point. I didn't look at the dimensions of your current sig (400x175), which means that the text in it is actually causing your signature to be rule-breaking (on that note, I probably need to double-check my own). As for the quality issue: that is the way that I am able to reduce image size. One of my programs is able to lower the quality of an image, while at the same time lowering the file size. I didn't have to adjust yours too much, so any changes in quality are minimal and really shouldn't be able to be seen unless really looking for it. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
January 13, 200818 yr Author Sorry for bumping this, one more question: What are the dimensions of the new sig? And I assume if I get another sig within those limits I can add it?
