Solidus_77
^ Unbalanced trade removal makes it impossible to split drops however they promise a fix to lootshare. Did you completely miss the update or something? No, I know what comparative advantage is. When I meant "it", I meant being 100% self-sufficient is not an advantage. Misconception for the first part then, glad you knew what you were talking about. Furthermore, to have any comparative advantage you need money, ergo, my further reasoning for (close to) 100% self-sufficiency (people who don't have the money need to be 100% self-sufficient - most cases anyways). Not quite, comparative advantage is based off of opportunity cost which is not always related to money. But to be 100% self-sufficient you have to go out of your way not to have money; you have to deliberately take 10 hours to do something that would take a fraction of that. It's a phenomenal waste of time like I said earlier. What the thread author is doing is deliberately getting rid of cash just to be 100% self-sufficient. You're better off doing ANY sort of income generating activity in runescape rather than being 100% self-sufficiency! It's just completely pointless economically and the whole "pride of gathering all my materials instead of buying them" is plain stupidity. Ironically enough, self-sufficiency is the reason I got hooked on this game in the first place. Yes, a pointless and stupid waste of time is what managed to get me playing this game. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed!
