Slayer Guide

I could be wrong about this, but -

If you get an assignment you don't like, you can go to the master in Burthorpe to get an easier one

I have just tried this ( I hate getting desert lizards!) He wouldnt let me change!

I'm slightly confused. :|

Slayer masters

The Burthorpe slayer master is the easiest and the Shilo Village slayer master the hardest. If you get an assignment you don't like, you can go to the master in Burthorpe to get an easier one. You can't change an assignment you get from the Burthorpe master though, so it's not possible to keep changing until you get one you like. Each slayer master has his/her own selection of monsters to give as assignment. Higher masters give more and harder monsters. The slayer masters will assign you either normal monsters to kill or special slayer creatures as explained later on.

This is already clearly written into the guide.

actually this issue is better explained in the official KB

I don't want to do my task!

Go to Turael in Burthorpe, north-west of Falador. If he thinks your task is too tough, he'll give you a different one. He'll only do this if your task is something he'd never set himself.

maybe you should consider rephrasing that part in the guide.

Whilst I have some minor reservations, I'll provide a link and a note in paranthesis to clear up that ambiguity. I'll try and remeber to either PM you or post on this topic if and when misplacedme has released the draft to the public, so you can check it for yourself.

By the way Ginger, I just got a scabarites task... I can now confirm that the skeletons and zombies do not count as "scabarites" as we assumed. And the crocodiles aren't scabarites either. ^_^

  • Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.
  • Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.
