Can someone tell me how to get ecto-tokens? in like order because I've never ever done it before and its for animal mag quest

Ectotokens are a product of using the Ectofunctus (can't really say they are a reward). You must basically get some bones, pots and buckets, grind your bones in the first floor, get some ectoplasm from the lowest level, then worship the Ectofunctus in the ground floor, and then claim your tokens from a Ghost Disciple (you'll need a ghost-speak amulet).

Take bones to grinder, get ground up bones in a pot

 

Take a bucket down stairs and fill with ectofunkus

 

 

 

Then i THINK you mix them together and claim from the ghost, im not too sure about the last bit, i did it ages ago for magnetism.

 

 

 

I dont know what to do with tokens though sorry, as the only time i have done it was in the quest.

I actually find it quite ironic that the Port Phasmatys general store does not take ecto-tokens as currency and the only places that you can use it are to buy brewing yeast in the pub basement and for dingy rides out to Dragontooth (or was it Daggertooth?) island for a quest.
