123rockstar
When we light logs, we usually light for each log! Thats not what we do in reality, instead we take some logs and add them to the fire! Making the fire last longer. Why not in runescape. therfore I suggest that firemaking should be done in this way. In addition, you and anyone else can add logs to your fire to make the flame last longer. Advantages: 1. You dont not have to move so far away in just burning a few logs. 2. You dont have to drop lots of logs in wc, earn firemaking exp with them! 3. NO worries in needing more spaces for firemaking. 4. NO worries in needing more fire for cooking. (Especially in Karajama) 5. More realistic.
magicmagicy
Good idea, but... I think there should be No xp given(cause your not actually firemaking) the fire can only "hold" up to about 10 logs, then there will be a message that says: "The fire is already full of logs, wait a few minutes before re-adding" Other than that, this seems like a decent suggestion. Add that in, then you've got a decent suggestion. Not bad. I was hoping you guys will be the one to give the numbers. However, adding logs can still give you exp. Thats an easy way. Making a code for it will be much easier as well, than taking up many spaces. Thanks for reading guys.
ThruItAll
Could other people add to the fire? I mean, like not just you. And for adding logs, would it just be like building a snowman? danke Schon Sam!^^"Blood runs thicker, oh were thick as thieves you know"-Carl Barât
D. V. Devnull
Okay, here's how I see it...: :-s [*:2dlt5dui] Allow the current firemaking style to be maintained, and add a "Burn-X" option that would lay the whole set for you. [*:2dlt5dui] Give exp, but only like 1/5th of what the logs are if you're freshly building a fire on the ground. [*:2dlt5dui] In regard to #2, allow people to add to the fire to gain exp other than the original lighter. This would benefit everyone, and is something I would love in-game. [*:2dlt5dui] Yes, it could be done much like building a snowman, give or take that instead of something building up, it would collect some kind of icons signifying the extra logs, or the fire could have a different shade of the color it is to signify how much fuel is left. (Would help with the special firelighters... : ...) 123rockstar, if you'll implement those notes as changes to your idea, then I will support. :D (Do not add me as a supporter otherwise.) ~Mr. D. V. Andrew_s_2
runescape doesn't have to be like real life. It's a game to escape from real life for short periods of time. So why play a game just like it? 99 attack-34,104th to 99 attack.
