I usually use emerald(e) bolts, but I like the magic shortbow much better. Would rune arrows be more efficient than rune crossbow and enchanted mith bolts?

Rune crossbow is better.. will this question never stop to be asked?

ive done better with msb and mith arrows than r-cbow and emerald enchanted on ocassion....i would say try both and see what you prefer

The rune crossbow has +31 more range bonus which can be bosted to + 39 more range bonus with a zammy book. on something like a black dragon or anything over lvl 200 you need every range bonus u can get. MSB dominates on things like fire giants and ogres but not on drags.

Straight mith/addy are good enough once the dragons are poisoned as well.
