I think your parents are messed up. Exams or not, you can get something like a paper round or a weekend job that doesn't take too long. With 2 highers and the rest Intermediate 2, my parents are suggesting I get a job, you just need to manage your time. Like cut down on the damn RuneScape which you want the money for. I guess they might actually pay off after a while, but I've never heard of anyone getting anything. My mom used to do it a while ago, I'm thinking it was around 98 or 99. I told her it was a scam, she never got a cent for it and probably put around 50 hours into them. That was a good 9 or 10 years ago.
