Black salamanders, train on them??

I never mentioned anything about banking the salamanders. Bank would be useful for lagging and losing your rope and net or something of that nature, and they were good experience before the update so unless they were nerfed, JaGEX seems to be going nerf happy lately, they would still be good experience.

I just went there last night to grab a beast with which to use all my Harralander tars. You're not really near a bank but it's a very short run out of the Wildy from the Black Salamander grounds.

I stuck to just one dead tree while I filled up my inventory and I was not attacked by the Hill Giants or the Green Dragons or any roving Revenants. Or PKers for that matter, which is an interesting point, but not for this thread.

Since that worked so well, I think I'll try it again keeping more than one net trap going this time. There's no reliable gold in Salamanders on the Exchange, so this is purely a time into skilling points location, and I don't know yet whether it beats trapping Red Sallies at the ZMI altar (Ourania tele on Lunar). That location is certainly safe and easier to get to with Gnome Tree tele to Khazard Battlefield.

Last week i did a black sallies session from lvl 67 to 68 hunting. Cant realy say if its better than red sallies or not since i did bank some of them so it slowed me down.

But still, with 4 traps i got a descent xp there.

I believe that without banking the xp rate there is better than red sallies.

However, i was attacked there few times by rev orcs (105) which,at my level, are no big deal to handle, and once by rev knight which was a pain...

so take extra net+rope since those avoid/fight rev maneuvers might cause you to loose 1 or 2 traps.

With the new game necklace tele option to BH, banking/restocking

becomes fairly easy since its not a long walk from there back to the sallies..
