[spoiler=Stats:]Updated December 22, 2011:

Total level - 1442 - 170M+ XP , Combat level - 115

Combat skills: Attack - 90, Defence - 99 (24.45m+ XP), Strength - 90, Constitution - 99 (16.42M+ XP) Ranged - 99 (13.32M+ XP), Prayer - 60, Magic - 99 (13.25M+ XP)

Non-Combat skills: Cooking - 99 (13.80M+ XP), Woodcutting - 99 (31.95M+ XP), Fishing - 90, Firemaking - 99 (24.82M+), Crafting - 90, Smithing - 90, Mining - 85, Runecrafting - 60, Dungeoneering - 85

Take a teleport with you. Bring only 3 items with you ie pick,plate and helm. Fill the rest of inventory with swordies except for about 6 salmon.

Check you are fully prayed up, check again. Turn of auto retaliate.Walk all the way. I keep as close to the left hand side as possible and have never met any revenants. When you reach place with altar(level 37 - 40 ish) turn 70 degrees and walk to level 46. The two rune rocks are just above the top of the lava maze.

Now you should keep a few steps away from the rune rocks while they respawn. I like to stand with the red spiders so that I can attack them. It is not multi combat so revenants will not be able to attack you while you are fighting spiders.Put on run and when rune rock spawns go get it. As you run towards it eat the first salmon. Eat the salmon as you need to and switch worldswhen you have both ores but make sure you note which world you visited and at what time. While waiting I always leave the prayer page showing so as to be able to switch on prayer as quickly as poss.

If revenants appear just run back towards the altar placewith mage prayer on. Do not eat unnecessarily as they are not good at chasing you and you can restore your prayer anyway so you should be able to returnwithout having to go all the way back to Varrock. I stay until I have collected about 10 ores as I am not too greed but that is your choice.

Other players tend to wear more armour but I prefer to be able to run further. If I die I lose only my power ammy.

Thre other small points. Remember to empty your quiver of arrows and also do not wear your untradeable items ( I lost my mime boots and gloves from being pked previously ). Random events are very commonplace so expect your pick head to fall off.

Have fun!!!!

Contrary to the answer above, an attact from a Revenant takes priority over any other NPC attacking you, even in Single-Combat zones.

I died with a full load of Rune Ore just 20 minutes ago because of this.. <.<

Thank for that information, I may have found myself in that same situation had you not told me this.

I would never under estimate the power of the revenants that is why you should leave run on, have protect from mage one click away, run at the first sign of trouble, do not take more than 8 - 10 ore in one run and wear only two expesive items and rune pick so that if you do die you only lose your lobbies and any rune ore that you got.

Now you have summoning get some summoned beast to atract reveants :D and like i readed on runescape site then you have extra inventory space or something with some summoned beasts..

Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.

So you are saying prayer is vital, would I be better off just wearing monk robes to protect myself from reverents? Rather than 2 rune items or something I mean.
