schrdr122
Is it just me or is it that every time there is a big update I get a checksum error when the game is loading. It is loading interfaces and then; checksum error, wait 5 secs; checksum error, wait ten secs; game updated please reload game. Could anyone please help me get runescape running. I don't want to wait a week for the next update so it can work.
wallyweams
You have a lossy internet connection. Data is always sent in an error correcting code form. If bits get goofed during transmission then they can sometimes be fixed if there aren't too many that are goofed. If there are too many that are goofed then the packet must be resent. Try a different world or get another ISP.
schrdr122
I got broad band. And it only happens every other update. So I'm just hoping Jagex updates again this week so I can play over the weekend.
runesmithie
I got broad band. And it only happens every other update. So I'm just hoping Jagex updates again this week so I can play over the weekend. It could be straight fiber optic and itd still be a little bit lossy ;) Are any of your cords by a UPS? That causes a lot of interference for me =\ I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
schrdr122
I got it to work by using the windows client and using it. So now I'm good in between updates. If someone could tell me why it worked I'd be interested to know.
