Is it just me or is it that every time there is a big update I get a checksum error when the game is loading. It is loading interfaces and then; checksum error, wait 5 secs; checksum error, wait ten secs; game updated please reload game.

Data is always sent in an error correcting code form.

 

 

 

If bits get goofed during transmission then they can sometimes be fixed

 

 

 

if there aren't too many that are goofed.

 

 

 

If there are too many that are goofed then the packet must be resent.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Try a different world or get another ISP.

Are any of your cords by a UPS? That causes a lot of interference for me =\

I got it to work by using the windows client and using it. So now I'm good in between updates.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If someone could tell me why it worked I'd be interested to know.
