Recksash
Summoning could have been so wonderful. But when I find out that you can get to 99 summoning without ever summoning a monster... That killed it. I don't mind that: -It's super expensive -Gold charms take a riduculously long amount of time to get -You lose money doing it Because it's really cool But when the focus of the skill is making pouches... :( -Reck Politics,n. King_Royale
The focus of farming is waiting yet its a good skill. Change the title; it made me think the smiley face emote was blocked.
Recksash
Yeah, but Summoning is supposed to be a combat skill. It raises your combat! But to level it you make pouches. How does that work out :-k -Reck Politics,n. highlanders
The focus of farming is waiting yet its a good skill. Not at all. You get exp from doing farming activities such as planting, picking, checking-health, etc. In summoning, instead of getting exp from handling and summoning beasts like a proper summoner should, you get exp from making pouches at an altar and you getting better at summoning beasts by doing that... pff.. It is the equivalent of getting firemaking exp for drawing fires on pieces of paper. Jagex obviously wanted to make this skill yet another money drain for elites, not a skill for everyone to enjoy 2480+ total
King_Royale
In summoning you get xp for making pouches. Which is preserving summons. Much like runecrafting.

Sharane
Prayer is raised burying bones yet its particular purpose is of combat. This isn't news. :P "300 programmers make their futile but glorious last stand against 1000000 angry players in The battle of Misthalin. They fight for honor, glory and new content sacrificing themselves so that their game may live on. This is Madness! This Is JAGEEEX!"
