hackmds
If you dont already know JaGeX is hiring french translators for runescape, just like they did when tey went German. What will be the next language for our favorite game? Click here for proof Most probable: dutch- a lot of people speek it, if you look runescape choose french and german before, both of those are close to england. chinese- there are a lot more chinese people then dutch, natuaraly making the game more larger. japanese- its a new fad that many teenagers want to learn, japan has a lot of people, and a lot of technology, making the game have more players PLEASE Do Not say country names: EX. Canadian, Australian, Brazilian, etc. Do NOT Say leet, 133T, or 1337, this is very slim due to the fact runescape uses good grammer (no offence) Do NOT Say fake countries for the love of the wize old man. He may get confused and use some prehistorical language, like goblin =] RIP kingryanj Soon to be 99 FM 99 Hunt and 99 Fletch

me
From an old Jagex recruitment document: Translation Team Member- Translating the RuneScape game into another language. We are currently translating the game into German, with French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish and Portuguese all planned for 2006. You need to be a native speaker of the particular language, with excellent English skills. A passion for computer games and an interest in the fantasy world is recommended. Never quite happened for 2006, but subsequently they have announced French and Portuguese - so it seems that next could be Italian, Spanish, Dutch or Polish.
