So, the godswords vary in price greatly and I've always wondered why people buy what they buy. The special attacks all have their uses I'm sure, but why is bandos so much cheaper if a lot of people buy them? I just need someone to explain the use of each godsword and it's most used purpose. Zamorak GS for castlewars? Bandos for ...? Saradomin GS for....? Armadyl for...?

BGS and SGS are mainly for boss monsters/barrows when the def reduction/healing if beneficial

 

 

 

AGS is just for big hits, so PvP.

Alot of the BGS's low price has to do with how easy it is, in respect to armadyl and sara especially. Many would aurgue with a good tank its easier than zammy.

Much easier than Zamorak.. Even with an average tanker. I can average about double kills in Bandos than Zamorak, with the same number of people in each team.. The price difference comes down to how many more people visit Bandos godwars.. If anyone has been there recently, since school has gotten out, each LootShare world has 10+ people in it, and some with more, 24/7.

Essentially bandos is easy and good cash. I mean still look at the prices. Debateably bandos is better money than even armadyl if you don't have truly exceptional stats. Supply and demand, my good friend. Just looking at prices bandos godsword prices are going to trend downwards almost indefinitely until it hits a critical price like 1.4 mil for a whip. Godswords are mostly a symbol of wealth, looking at the fact that although they are truly exceptional weapons there is no reason for almost all runescape players to even consider owning one.

So then Bandos godsword does have a use, but the boss is easier, I see.

Yes, the War Strike Special for the Bandos Godsword is very useful when boss hunting, as it lowers their combat stats, first being defense (very good in Bandos Godwars, as Graardor has a very high defense). But since theres so many in the market, it just keeps dropping in price.

The spec's not noticeable, but people still use it because it's the cheapest GS and has the same stats.

 

 

 

I've had my SGS for about 6 months now and I use it for everything; slayer, GW, even when ranging from a safe spot (for pray restore).

 

 

 

AGS is used in PvP and ZGS for CW.
