I've created a webdesign for my new website. The design is IMO good but the web page is weird in firefox it is wrong but in Internet Explorer its correct so what the heck now down to the images:P

 

 

 

 

 

 

Everything except for the fonts is made by myself. I'm still going to make some small changes but not more. Rate/hate

 

I used illustrator for the star thingy.

Works in IE, but not in FF?

 

That means you coded it wrong. Firefox uses the webstandards to display pages, IE makes a mess of a lot of things.

 

 

 

What's the blurry stripe?

 

And why is there a huge trendwhore-ish design where the text would go? You could lower the opacity of that, so it doesn't stick out that much.

firefox puts a like 50 px gap between 2 parts but i will show it later thanks for the advice

Looks pretty good to me. Nicely done.

 

 

 

Though, the weird thing behind the text is a bit too sharp and stands out too much. :)

Hmm, you do realize that this layout is totally fixed do you?

 

You can't make it to automatically resize when you put more content in it because of the diagonal black line.

 

 

 

Aout that 50px gap, could you show us where exactly that gap is?

 

I might have an idea of the problem (I've done this loads of times myself too ^^).

Not bad, but I'm not a big fan of the blue flame-ish things at the top. They just don't seem to go very well with the rest of the design. I also think the black circle thing in the middle is too distracting, it will be especially when people try to read the text that's going to be on top of it. I'd definitely try lowering the opacity. The font in the header could use some work too, doesn't look great IMO.
