Any point getting back into the game?

So it's summer time again...and once again for the last three months or so I haven't been playing Runescape because I had become bored of it. Well last night I signed in for the first time since then to see how my account was doing. Everything was still there: all my armour, weapons potions and whatnot. My bank was still full of members items, so there wasn't much more for me to do. I decided to just go mining the guild for a couple of hours, and I ended up enjoying my time there. It started to get me thinking if I should subscribe for members and start playing again, but I'm still debating with myself whether or not I should, because I don't want to end up paying for it and stop playing for three months again - it just seems like I'm wasting my time. So has anyone ever been in the same situation I'm in, or can relate? Is there really a point coming out of retirement?

Theres the new graphics udate to look forward to, if you like it that is. If you had fun why not give it another shot. Its a game, if you have fun, play it, if not, quit. If you can buy your members with a credit card just make shure to cancel three or five days before your month is up otherwise it will renew it automaticaly. Goodluck on your decision. :)

I've stopped playing because I'm just getting bored. I still have membership, but I'm really not interested in it anymore. I just say if you want to give it another shot, pay for a month, then see if you can get back into it. ;) Or you could try F2P for awhile, and see how it goes.

Lol I'm not really that picky on graphics, it's all about the gameplay for me :D

I tried my hardest to enjoy F2P, but I just couldn't :(

 

 

 

Plus, like I said my main account's bank is filled with members items, and he's wearing members clothing...so if I'm going to play again it's almost definite I'm going back to members.

It's $15 for the whole summer, you could easily pay it. If you enjoy it, it's like 16 cents a day. That's worth it imo, you might as well pay if you feel like playing.

I think that if you enjoy something, $5 a month is a small price to pay for some enjoyment. Go to one movie a month and it's more than that (even a matinee!). If you find yourself not enjoying as much as you expected than you can easily cancel the membership, and it won't set you back much.
